j An outbreak of fire occurred in the office I of the Great Northern Brewery, Khyber j Pass Road, just before ten o'clock last night. I The flames were extinguished before they | had gained a strong hold. The New- | market Fire Brigade was in attendance. | Very little damage resultedThe City and Parnell Fire Brigades ! answered a call to Manukau Road, Parnell, | yesterday afternoon, the cause of the out- < break being a defective chimney in 1 Mepham's fruit shop. The fire" was quickly extinguished.
