HEADMASTER OF ETON.
REV. C. A ALINGTON.
Anst. and N.Z. Cable. LONDON. July 17. The Rev. C. A. Alington, headmaster at Shrewsbury- since 1908, has been appointed headmaster at Eton, in succession to tho Rev. Hon. E. Lyttelton, who resigned last April.
The Rev. Cyril Argentine Alington has been headmaster of Shrewsbury School since 1908. He as born in 1872. and had a brilliant career at Oxford. He was at one time an assistant- master at Eton.
