A Washington message states that the American Consul at Bremen has been asked why he failed to send confidential advice to the Government of the DeutschJand's departure.
Intense interest is being taken in the Deutschland. It is reported that she will make a night dash for sea from Baltimore in order to avoid the waiting cruisers.
Count Bernstorff, the German Ambassador, inspected the vessel, and placed official letters aboard her. The Xew York World's Berlin correspondent states that a third German freight submersible has been finished, and a fourth is nearing completion. The shipyards are working night and day on submarines.
