(Received 1 a.m.) AMSTERDAM, July 11

A Turkish communique states: '' We defeated Russians near Sinekon on the way to Harnadan, in Persia. The enemy fled to Sineh, where they are besieged. A Russian offensive in the Caucasus, near Tschorok, failed. We sank four enemy transports and several sailers, and ignited a large petroleum depot at Xovorossivsk, on the north-east coast of the Black Sea.''
