TURKISH COMMUNIQUE.

ARMENIAN FIGHTING. ENEMY'S FALSEHOODS. LONDON. JUNE 28. A Turkish communique states: " Our columns which are pursuing the enemy to the northward of the Chorokh River, near Trebizond, have come into contact with them. The enemy is throwing up fortifications. " British ships continue to bombard undefended places on the Red Sea coast. They are directing their fire mainly at holy places and mosques. A warship bombarded the mausoleum of the Sheik Hamid, near Medina, and another shelled Jeddah Harbour." The latter allegation is officially denounced as an unqualified falsehood.
