Tf. Aroha, Wednesday. A lad named Stewart, aged 12, met with a serious accident this afternoon. He was riding home from Te Aroha when some of the harness became loose. The horse became fractious, and the lad was dragged fully 200 yds before trie saddle left the horse. The boy when picked up had his foot through the stirrup iron. He was considerably knocked about, and was admitted to the hospital, where he lies in a critical condition. YOUTH KICKED ON TEMPLE. TRUCKING TIMBER IX BUSH. [BY TELEGRAPH.OWN CORRESPONDENT. Waihi, Wednesday. A youth named Richard Comes met with a painful accident while trucking timber in the bush on Monday. One of the horses he was driving kicked, striking Comes heavily on the temple. Although he is likely to be detained for treatment for some time, the hospital authorities are of the opinion that the injuries will not prove serious.
