NATIVE LAND COURT.

A si'ottmg of the Waikato» and Maniapoto Native Land Court was held last week in the Central Hall, Cook Street, Judge A. G. Holland presiding. A great deal of business had been disposed of when the sitting concluded on Saturday, of the 52 eases set down ior hearing 47 being decided. The principal business was the settling of the difficulties in connection with the surveys of the Wharekawa Blocks, north and south and Waitakaruru No. 1 C Block. The Court had been engaged with the settling of these disputes for some considerable time, and their final adjudication gave xise to considerable satisfaction. ; The next sitting of the Court will be held on July 4, when the alienations of native lands will be considered.
