Tunks, accompanied by Mrs. Tanks, left on a visit to Wellington by the mid-day express on Saturday. - Mr. John Fuller, jun., who had been on a visit to Auckland, returned to Wellington on the mid-day express on Saturday. Mr. J. H. Upton, acting-chairman of directors of the Bank of New Zealand, returned from a visit to Wellington by Saturday morning's express. Among the passengers leaving Auckland for Sydney to-night are Mr. and Mrs. W. B. A. Morrison, who are going to the Straits Settlement to visit their three sons. Advice has been received by Mr. Justice Cooper, says a Press Association telegram from Gisborne, that his son, who was a captain in the Flying Corps, has been killed. Mr. W. H. Woodward has returned to Auckland from Samoa on a "short visit. Sir. Woodward left New Zealand with the first Expeditionary Forces and now holds a. position in the legal department under the Samoan Administration.

He was worm fled while on active service, and is visiting New Zealand to recuperate. Lieutenant Maunsell will be the guest of his aunt, Mrs. Kissling, St. -Stephen's Avenue, Parnell, during his stay in Auckland.
