MAYOR'S SERVIAN FUND.
ADDITIONAL DONATIONS.
The total collections for the Mayor of Auckland's Servian War Relief Fund amount to £2536 9s 4d. The latest amount of £41 4s was donated by the following : —Part proceeds of annual trials of Te Akau Sheep Dog Trial Club, per W. H. Kukali ss, M. Kukalj ss, A. Jezich ss; collection among Dalmatian Slavs at Waipu, per Tony Katavich, as follows Tony Katavich £1 Is, Paul Granich £1, Mick Govorko £1, AnteKatavich £1, Joe Antunovich £1; collection among Gordon school children, per Albert E. Grigg, £1 ss; R. Reeve, 2s 6d. IMPORTED OWLS. That the small grey owl has justified its importation into Otago has been demonstrated in a plantation in Kaitangata. The plantation once teemed with bird life, but lately the owl has taken up his quarters there, and has played havoc with the many sparrows and other Jjirda which previously abounded.
