OUT OF POLITICS.
— ♦ MR. ROOSEVELT WITHDRAWS. MR. HUGHES'S FAILURE. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received June 13. 1 a.m.) New York, June 12. In an interview, Mr. Roosevelt reiterated that he was out of politics. He said it was useless to .visit him, as he had nothing to say. It is uncertain whether he will support Mr. Hughes. Mr. Roosevelt intimates that the chief obstacle is Mr. Hughes's failure to repudiate squarely the methods of German-Americans.
