TWO HOSPITAL CASES.

Whim crossing the road below the Parnell Bridge last evening, Mr. David Weir a farmer, of Avondale, 81 years of age, was knocked down by a. city-bound tramcar. He was conveyed to the hospital, where he was found to have sustained slight injuries to the head.

A married man named Hunt, 27 years of age, was admitted to the hospital yesterday afternoon, suffering from internal in Junes. He is employed in the traffic department of the railway, and while riding on the rear of a truck he slipped, and was crushed between the truck and a coal-stage. His condition is not serioos.
