Draixo his remarks to-day concerning unwarranted aspersions on the loyalty of citizens, Sir Joseph Ward said amongst those who had Been mentioned was a Minister of the Crown, who was a Britishbora subject. He had not been asked by his colleague to refer to the matter, but he could not sit still and Hear reflections cast on one who had always been a loyal and respected —(hear, hear)— and who now had a brother fighting at the front. There was no reason whatever to question the loyally of one who had been a true Briton all his life. Mr. T. M. Wilford: There is no more loyal subject in New Zealand.
Sir Joseph Ward: That is so.
