OTAHUHU BOROUGH.
' *. - MEETING OF COUNCIL. The fortnightly meeting of the Otabulra Borough Council:, was held on Monday evening. The Mayor, Mr. James Atkinson, presided, and there . were also present i Messrs. A. Lowe, J. Wilson, A. Grey, G. Wallace, F. R. Field, and H. J. Hall. A resident of Fairtrarn wrote asking the council to complete the footpath, as storm water ran on to this property. The works foreman was instructed to attend to the matter. The fire brieade wrote asking for a, subsidy as in former years. It was resolved that the matter be attended to as early as possible. , The town clerk, Mr. Kent Johnston, was- appointed returning officer for the borough. ' 6
