AMERICAN DEFENCES.
PREPARATION URGED. NEW YORK DEMONSTRATION. New York, May 15. A monster procession of 150,000 people, including 20,000 women,, accompanied by 200 bands, paraded the streets for the purpose of urging the nation to prepare for war. All the professions were represented, included among those present being 20 Supreme Court judges.
