By the. arrival, yesterday, of the schooner Qiiectf frdrii 1 Tatifanganni, Poverty Bay, we learn" that 'rumours of Keteopa being in that district had been confirmed^by fie? eral * 'natives from tne interior. "On Monday -week last Morgan's tribe, who had been sent for by the Superintendent of Napier, Mr. D. McLean, arrived at Tauranganui from . Waipu, and, after remaining there -two' days toreroing, started for a redoubt, where the Forest Rangers were stationed, and from that place they would join the force in search of the rebel:Karfcopa and his party. We iicpe soon to hear a good account of their doings and the £ capture of this arch rfcbeL *
Our informant states that it was a grand sight to see Morgan's men march into Tauranganui. Every, man was fully armed and equipped, and they also bore with them, fluttering in the breeze, some 60 or 60 rebel flags, that had been captured daring the war by the native contingent.
