Returned soldiers who have been discharged do not appear to generally understand that they can only wear their uniforms on occasions authorised by the officer commanding the district. Application for permission to wear uniform for any special purpose should be made on each occasion to the local Defence Office. The best prevention against influenza or colds, which are infectious or contagious, is to protect the mucous membranes of the nose and throat by taking "NAZOL." on sugar, or by frequently inhaling it through a "ifAZOL'' inhaler.
