OCCUPYING THE APARTMENTS OF CARL LODY.

Times and Sydney Sun Services. (Received April 28, 6.15 p.m.)

London, April 27. The Daily Mail states that Sir Roger Casement is closely guarded in the Tower. He is occupying the apartments in which Carl Lody, the German spy, spent the night before his execution. A New York message states that Mrs. Newman, Sir Roger Casement's sister, has initiated a movement to appeal to Mr. Lansing, United States Secretary of State, to approach the British Government on Casement's behalf.
