NORTHERN ASSOCIATION'S MEETING. Tho annual meeting of the Northern Boxing Association was held in the Amateur Sports Club's room last evening. Mr. C. F. Sandors presided over a fair attendance of m Tho annual report and balance-sheet, a resume of which was published in Wednesday's HERALD, were read and adopted, Ine chairman congratulated the association on the high position maintained throughout the Tho election of officers resulted:— Hon A. M. Myers, president, Capt. P B. Greenhoush; vice-presidents, Messrs. C. F. Sanders, D. R. Caldwell, J. L. B. Bloomfield, Jas Brown, J. L. Lmnard, J. E. Fagan, J. Gillett, and T. C. R. Thatcher; committee Messrs. J. W. Russell (chairman l, 3. Gillett, Jas. W. Brown, F. Burns, H..D. Caro, J. L. Leonard, J. E. Pagan, J. P. Page, R. Ricketts, C. F. Sanders, C. 'Wilson, and W. Dervan; hon. medical officers, Dr. W. S. Brockway and Dr. C. C. Murphy; lion, solicitor, Mr. Justin E. Mshoney; hon. referee, Mr. F. Burns; hon. auditor. Mr. P. R. Fraser; hon. custodian, Mr. W. Arnold; hon. secretary, Mr. Moss Ballin; hon. treasurer, Mr. J. M. F. Connolly. A motion was carried, in consequence of the policy adopted for this season, "that all members of the association be free from subscriptions for the ensuing twelve months." A welcome was extended 'to Mr. Harry Kecsing. of Napier, a former referee of the association, who is now on a visit to Auckland.
