AUCKLAND LAND BOARD.

A meeting uf the Auckland Crown Land Board was held yesterday. There were present:—The Commissioner of Crown Lands, Mr. H. M. Rkeet, chairman, and Messrs. A- R. Harris, J. Trounson, J. Li. Rutherford, and Vernon IT. .Reed.

Fourteen applications for the fee simple of sections mid 13 transfer and subleases were approved. Twenty-live applications were recommended to the Minister for Lands for approval, four were adjourned, and four were refused. Four mquests for <-xtcnsion of time to comply with conditions of residence were granted.

Six leases were forfeited, and consideration of the position of four in re gard to forfeiture, was adjourned. Four renewals of Education Reserve leases and three renewals of timber floating license wire approved. Eight applications for land were granted, four were recommended to the Minister for approval, and consideration of one was adjourned.
