FAST FRENCH AEROPLANE. London, April 11. In the House of Commons to-day Mr. H. J. Tennant, Under-Secre-tary for War, said that it was understood that Lord Derby and Lord Montague of Beaulieu have resigned from the Air Committee. He added that there were differences of opinion among the members of the committee, but no friction. The Paris Journal says that franco has tested a new aeroplane, which is fitted with a remarkable engine, and which flies much faster than the Fokker. Some writers draw attention to the fact that several Fokkers have recently I een brought down at Verdun, and suggest that the new machine is responsible.
