CLAIM FOR SERVICES RENDERED.
PLAINTIFF NONSUITED.
Judgment was given by Mr. C. C. Kettle in a case brought by Charles Anduse against Edward Whitehead to recover £37" 14s, alleged to be due for services rendered as caretaker. The magistrate said that plaintiff sought to recover £37 14s, alleged to be duo for acting as caretaker of defendant's farm at Henderson at the rato of 2s per dav. It was quite clear that plaintiff asked defendant to allow him to stay in the house at Henderson. Plaintiff admitted that thero was no agreement on defendant's part to pay plaintiff for services rendered as caretaker. It was evident that plaintiff wanted to go to that house to live, ho held that plaintiff had not established his case. Ho did not make any claim until long after the services were alleged to have been rendered. Plaintiff was, therefore, nonsuited. Mr. T. Baxter! who appeared for defendant, intimated that he did not ask for costs.
