SUPREME IN THE AIR.

BRITISH SERVICE GAINING

FINEST AEROPLANE.

(Received April 10, 8.40 p.m.) London, April 9. Mr. Pemberton Billing, member /or East Herts, speaking at Newcastle, said " Instead of Zeppelins we have the finest aeroplane in the world, and within half a year may regain and retain supremacy of the air. We are able now to defend ourselves better even than by anti-air-craft guns."

Speaking at Sunderland Mr. Billing said that within two years there would be aeroplanes capable of a speed of 250 miles per hour. He believed Germany would seek, within ten years, revenge in and against Britain, but Count Zeppelin had laid the foundation of Britain's supremacy in the air.
