StDNET, April 9. A fine block of shops facing Belmore Park, recently erected by the Government but never occupied, are being demolished in connection with the city railway scheme.
SPECULATIVE BUILDING.
RESTRICTION BY BANKS. SnMrar, April 8.
The Superintendent of Labour reports that the Fair Rents Court is not affecting building. The slump is due to banks refusing advances to speculative builders.
