AUTOMOBILE ASSOCIATION.

DANGEROUS HAMILTON CROSSING,

A meeting of the council of the Auckland Automobile Association was held last night.

With reference to the complaint made by the association of the danger existing at the Victoria Street crossing at Hamilton, Mr. E. H. Hiley, General Manager of Railways, replied that all trains stop at Hamilton, . therefore the speed v-as not great and trains were under control when crossing Victoria Street. A porter acted .as crossing-keeper during the day.
