APPAM'S OWNERSHIP.
BRITISH CLAIM BROUGHT.
Washington, February 20.
The owners of the British steamer Appam, which was taken by the Mcewe and brought into port in charge of a German prize crew, have brought proceedings to regain possession of the vessel under the terms of The Hague Convention.
