MANUKAU HARBOUR MATTERS

The members of the Manuka; Harbour Committee of the Harbour Boaru— H.J). Heather, H. R. M H Wynyard, W. Wallace, W. Hutchison, and J. S. Bond—paid a visit to Waiuku yesterday, together with Mr. John Rowe Mayor of Onehunga, and the secretary and engineer to the board. On arrival", the party met the members of tho Waiuku town Board and' agreed with them upon an adjustment of boundaries of the reclamation. After also inspecting the dredging works lately carried out at Waiuku, the party visited Blockhouse Bav, where the chairman of the Manukau Harbour Committee, Mr. Mackenzie, met a deputation which put forth suggestions in regard to a proposed landing on the front. No conclusion was, however, arrived at.
