THE PAPAL DELEGATE.
ARRIVAL IN WELLINGTON'. [BV TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Monday. The Papal Delegate to Australasia, Archbishop Cerretti, arrived hero to-day, and was met by a. large number of Catholics, including Archbishops Redwood and O'Shea. Bishops Verdon and Clean,-, Monsignor Brodie, and many visiting and local clergy. An official reception was held to-night. The basilica was filled when tho ecclesiastical authorities of Wellington and the Catholic congregations accorded an official welcome to Archbishop C'eretti, who conveyed the, Papal blessing to the congregations. Special music was rendered by the combined choirs of the city and suburban churches.
