SHOP WINDOWS SMASHED. Melbotjeite, January 15. Anti-German riots have occurred at Prahran. Many shop windows were smashed, and the military and j civil police had the greatest diffi-! culty in restoring order. Over 401 arrests were made. GREEKS WANT TO FIGHT i PETITION TO GOVERNMENT. Sydney, January 15. Greeks are petitioning for permission to form a company for service with the Expeditionary Force. REFUSALS TO ENLIST. SYDNEY FIGURES. Sydney, January 15. Out of 3461 recruiting forms returned by men living in the metropolitan area, 2965 contain refusals to enlist. Military decentralisation con-i tinues, and many country camps are being opened. ENEMY SHAREHOLDERS. ! NOTICE TO WITHDRAW. Melbourne, January 15. The Prime Minister of Australia has announced that companies incorporated in Australia, and having naturalised or unnaturalis<nl enemy aliens holding shares, will receive three months within which the elimination of such shareholders must bo effected. No exceptions will be allowed except by permission of the Attorney - General. Future transfers of shares to enemy aliens will not be allowed, and the transfer of land will also be disallowed.
