LORD CHELMSFORD CHOSEN. AUSTRALIAN EX-GOVERNOR. By Telesrraph— Press Association—Copyright. Lo.vdon, January 14. Lord Otelmsidrd has been appointed Viceroy of India in succession to Lord Hardin ge. Lord Chelmsford, who is in his 48th year, was Governor of Queensland from 1905 to 1903, and Governor of New South Wales from 1909 to 1913. He has served on the London County Council.
