' The Prime Minister of Australia, Mr. Hughes, has warned disloyalists that anything done to prejudice recruiting, will be visited with condign punishment. He ' referred to the resolutions passed by various bodies advising people not to fill in recruiting cards as a most ill-advised proceeding. He believed that those voting for such measures had been misled by specious misrepresentations of the Government's scheme as a form of conscription.
