A Russian communique says:— '" The enemy drove us out of Czartorysk, on the River Styr. We counter-attacked and recaptured the town, and have held it firmly since. ' ; Our troops on the Middle Strypa, further south, captured sections of the enemy's position, making prisoners of over 1000 men. "Desperate enemy counter-attacks, with large forces, north-east of Czernowitz, in Bukovina, were all repulsed with enormous enemy losses."
