Public Notices. ; CLOSING HOURS FOR BUTCHERS' SHOPS. UNDER "THE SHOPS AND OFFICES ACT. 1S08." AND ITS AMENDMENTS. Public Notice is hereby given that, in pursuance of Section 25 of " The Shops and Offices Act, 1908." the Auckland City Council, the Birkenhead Borough Council, the Devonport Borough Council, the Mount Albert Borough Council, the Mount Eden Borough Council, the Isewmarket Borough Council, the Northcote Borough Council, the Onehunga Borough Council, the Otahuhu Borough Council, the Takapuna Borough Council, the Epsom Read Board and the One-tree Hill Road Board, have severally been asked to certify that the signatures to the requisitions, to be presented to the Hon. the Minister for Labour, in regard to the said City of Auckland, Boroughs and Road Districts, respectively, represent a majority of the occupiers of all shops in which Butchers' Meat is sold by retail within the said City of Auckland, Boroughs and Road District* respectively. The object of the requisition is to have the following hours gazetted as the Closing Hours of all Shops in which Butchers' Meat is sold by retail in the said City of Auckland, Boroughs and Road Districts, respectively, namely :— Five o'clock p.m. or four days in the week, and Six o'clock p.m. . n one other day in the week. All Objections to the issue of such certifi cates by each of the said Local Bodies must be mad* in writing and lodged respectively at the Offices of the Town Clerk, Town Hall.
