Minister for Railways, on Tuesday, and asked that excursion tickets to Te Aroha, issued on Saturdays, be available for return till the following Thursday. The Minister acceded to the request. Mr. Herries was also asked that the time of departure from Frankton Junction of the train locally known as the " wild cat," be altered to after the arrival of the Main Trunk . express from Auckland. This would benefit farmers and business men, as it would allow another -hour in Hamilton. Mr. Herries promised to look into the matter.
