HIKURANGI TOWN BOARD.

The monthly meeting of the Hikurangi Town Board Commissioners was held ci Tuesday. Present: Messrs. T. R. Gagcr, chairman, R. Howie. A. M. Rust, T. Shore. The chairman and treasurer were authorised to sign and execute all legal documents and debentures in connection with tlte raising of the stress improvement i-un •■: &4000 from the State Advances Board. It was resolved to connect the Recreation Ground with the town water supply. D * registration fee for cattle or sheep dog* within the tow district during 1916 «afixed at 2s 6d each, and for sport in- docs and others 10s each. Mr. R. S Finch. the newly-appointed engineer, is to commence laying out the improvements.
