GERMAN CONCENTRATION ON THE WESTERN FRONT.

MEN AND GUNS BEING POURED INTO FRANCE. I ATTEMPT AT A COUP-DE-MAIN EXPECTED. London, December 7. For eight days the Germans have been massing troops and guns in Belgium and France. An attempt at a coup-de-main is expected. A French communique states: "In the Champagne fighting has continued for possession of the advance trenches south of Saranfc Sonplet. Our counter-attack enabled us to recapture a great part of the lost trenches. In other parts of the front the bombardment has been general."
