RIVALRY IN HORRORS.

London, October 15.

Speaking at a Mansion House meeting, called for the purpose of opening a fund for the relief of Armenians, Viscount Bryce said there had been two international crimes during the last 12 months worse than anything within the past four centuries. He thought the wickedness and faithlessness of the invasion of Belgium by the Germans could not be surpassed, but the recent massacres in Asia Minor and Armenia were worse than any massacre recorded in history.
