MANUFACTURE LOCALLY. Melbourne, October 15. Mr. W. M. Hughes, Federal AttorneyGeneral, announces that arrangements have been definitely completed whereby the •whole of the copper output suitable for electrolytic treatment will be treated in Australia. Negotiations are proceeding whereby all copper and brass goods required will be manufactured in Australia. TASMANIA!* PARLIAMENT. EXTENSION TILL MARCH, 1917. Hobabt, October 15. The State Assembly has agreed to an extension of the life of the present Parliament till Maxch. 1917.
