COL. MARCHAND WOUNDED.
EXPLORER AND SOLDIER. (Received September 30, 12.40 a.m.)
Paris, September 29. Colonel Jean Marchand, the French explorer and soldier, who figured in the Fashoda incident, has been wounded. His wound is serious, but will probably not prove fatal.
