GRAVES IN BELGIUM.

TRIBUTES OF PEASANTS.

FLOWERS EVERY SUNDAY.

London, September 28.

Belgian peasants are looking after the graves of British soldiers with great care. In a letter from Mons a lady says: "Everywhere in the fields there are graves, some containing 20 soldiers. These graves are covered with beautiful flowers, which are often renewed every Sunday, when they are visited by hundreds of people. The graves bear the inscription: ' Here lie the brave British soldiers who died in defence of our country.' "
