EFFECTS SOLD BY AUCTION.

[BT TELEGRAPH.— ASSOCIATION.] Rotorca, Wednesday. Tin; personal effects of Count Rene De Montaigu, who was declared bankrupt last Novemoer. and has since left the Dominion, were auctioned to-day at- Kind's Theatre, which w.is crowded. The lots comprised guns, fishing tackle, jewellery, knick-knacks, and a large quantity of boots and clothing. The prices realised were good. The sale is unfinished, hut it is expected that the estimates of th© auction value, £250, will be fully realised. Oil painting and a set of furs, presented for th© Patriotic Fund, were also sold, and fetched £51 s=. * x
