ALLEGED THEFT OF STAMPS.
DEALER CHARGED WITH RECEIVING.
[BY TELEGRAPH. PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Dttneddt, Tuesday. William Lawrence Hooper, a stamp dealer, was arrested on warrant this afternoon, on a charge of receiving £40 worth of official stamp*- on or about July 16, knowing them to have been dishonestly obtained. It is stated that the stamps were stolen from a Government Department in Wellington.
