James Finlay. Deceased had been ailing for seme time. He was a prominent figure in Freemasonry, was pastmaster of Lodge of Light, LC.", and at his death was* trustee of that institution. Mr. Finlay had occupied the responsible position of deputy-grand master. 1.C., and went through all the chairs cf the .Royal Arch Chapter. He possessed many ■ sterling qualifications.
