Hendry, of Wellington, accompanied by Mrs. Hendry, is spending a few days' holiday in Auckland. Brigadier-General A. W. Robin. Commandant of the Xew Zealand Forces, and t~>urg€«on-t3oneral R. S. F. Henderson. Director-General of Medical Services, left Wellington last evening to make an inspection of the South Island military districts. They will return to Wellington at the end of this week.

Captain G. R. Hutchinson, officer commanding No. 1 Compauy Army Service Corps. Auckland, has been appointed captain of the Army Service Corps draft, eighth reinforcements. Cantain Hutchinson is a member of the Auckland Harbour Board, and managing director of Hutchinson Brothers, Ltd., and Hutchinsons {Wholesale). Ltd. Lieutenant A. (i. McDonald, of Coromandel. and Second Lieutenant W. R. Dick, of Cambridge, will also go as officers of the Army Service Corps draft, eighth reinforcements.
