The Kurow arrived from Fiji on Saturday with sugar, and went to Chelsea to discharge. She sails on the return voyage about the middle of the week. The Victoria is due at Auckland from Sydney to-morrow morning. She has 101 passengers and 2000 tons of cargo for Auckland. She returns to Sydney at 5.30 p.m. on Wednesday.

The New Zealand Shipping Company has received advice to the effect that their chartered steamer Ashburton, which is due to leave Montreal on September 30, is to come through the Panama Canal. Auckland will be i the first port on call, after which the Ashburton proceeds to Wellington. Lyttelton. Melbourne, and Sydney. The Ashburton will be followed by the Berwick Law, which will come by the same route. The arrived from Wellington, via Napier and Gisborne. at 8.30 p.m. yesterdav. and berthed at the Queen's Wharf. She sails on the return voyage at 9 p.m. to-morrow.

The Northern Company's steamer Rimtt reached New Plymouth at 5.30 a.m. on Friday from Onehunga, or fully one hour before the Wellington train left New Plymouth. The Eimu's arrival at Onehunga on Saturday from New Plymouth was delayed about an hour owing to the heavy miet at the Manukau Heads.
