Wellington. September 26.

The High Commissioner has sent the following report on the Dardanelles operations, under date 25th inst. :—

"The week has been calm in both zones of the peninsula. The Turks attempted to attack the French front by a mine. Their gallery was destroyed by boring, and, according to a prisoner, two officers and 30 men were killed. Allied warships efficiently bombarded a heavy-calibre battery on the Asiatic coast*'
