TWO YEARS' IMPRISONMENT.

William Keith and Samnel White, charged with attempted breaking and entering at Eltham. were brought before the Chief Justice yesterday for sentence. Counsel ■ for White said that prisoner had a mania for tunnelling. He was subject to epileptic fits and was in pocr health.

His Honor said the proper course fa* to send both men to some place where they could get open-air treatment. He would recommend that White be sent to the tree-planting camp at Waipa and Keith to Kaingaroa. The sentence would be two years' imprisonment in each case.
