A Victorian dentist recently forwarded to the Age office a set of teeth, which he claimed were just the thing 'for soldiers, and, after explaining their particular virtues, added: "In a row or close quarters with an enemy, the soldier could slip these out of his mouth and gouge the neck of his opponent, cut his throat or slice off his nose, ear, or any part of the enemy.
