Public Notice is hereby given that at the Ordinary Meeting of the Auckland City Council to be held on THURSDAY, 7th day of October, 1915. a Resolution will be submitted for Confirmation of the following Special Order, made at a Special Meeting of the said Council on the 9th day of September, 1915, viz.: — " Xhat the Auckland City Council doth 1 hereby, by Special Resolution, in-1 tended to operate as a Special Order, resolve to make the following By-laws, to be known as By-laws No. 25 (Here follow the By-laws). . The object or purport of the said By-laws is as follows To extend and amend By-laws Nos. 1, 8, 9. 15. 20, 22, and 23 of the City of Auckland: to increase the price for Allotments in Areas - and 3, Waikumete Cemetery, to 50s; to define in respect of the Kemuera District- the terms, "the district-," "house." "shop," "site," ' new house," and to establish a minimum building area in such district ; to permit of the storage of certain specified quantities of explosive or dangerous goods for sale cr private use without license; to amend *he fee for motormen's and conductor's licenses to Is in each case; to define tenements and apartment houses in the Grey Lynn District ; to fix the fees for show cases and' the maximum distance such cases shall project over the street; to fix the fees for the use of an electric fan at and for the admission of duly certified employees of the Auckland Electric Tramways Co.. Ltd., to the Hobson Street Baths; to repeal Sub-section C of Section XI. of By-laws No. 9. and to fix the fees and charges for an extraordinary water supply tor garden purposes to allotments having a greater area than half-an-acre; to provide that- in any premises connected with the waterworks no water closet shall be installed j unless iho same is connected directly to the waterworks. I ursuant of the provisions of " The Local 7?°j d Leans Act. 1913," the Manurewa j noad Board hereby gives notice of its intention to raise a Special Loan of Four Hundred Pounds for the purpose of Forming and Metalling Coxhead's Road. The security proposed to be given in connection with such Loan is an annually recurring Rate of One-eighth of a Penny in the £ on the capital value of all Ratable Property included in the area described in the Schedule hereto, being part- of the Manurewa Road District. The said security will provide for the payment of Interest and Sinking Fund in connection with the said Loan. The whole of the Loan is to be repayable at the expiration of 36i years from the raising of the Loan It is proposed to pay out of the Loan Moneys the cost- of raising the Loan and the first year interest on the Loan during the construction of the said works.
