WELLINGTON RECEPTION.
ARRANGEMENTS COMPLETED.
[BY TELEGRAPH.SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT.] Wellington, Friday. The Second Maori Contingent is expected to arrive here at ten o'clock to-morrow morning. In the afternoon it will engage in a route-march through the city. The Maoris will be accompanied by the remaining 6th reinforcements and the advance party of the Trentham Regiment, making about 500 men on parade. The Maoris will enter the Town Hall, where a public reception will be extended them. Short addresses will be given by the Governor, the Prime Minister, Sir Joseph Ward, the Hon. James Allen, the Hon. Dr. Pomare, and Sir James Carroll. Afterwards, the Maoris will hold a private ceremony, to which no' Europeans will be admitted.
