BOGUS NURSES.
IMPOSITIONS IN SYDNEY. " The public should be on the look- > ! out for the bogus lady doctor and nurse > who state that they have just returned from the front," said an officer at the Victoria Barracks, Sydney, recently. " There are women at present in Sydney who have been imposing upon people in a most callous manner. There have lately been several genuine nursing sisters returned in charge of wounded, but their names are known, and have been published as each boatload of wounded arrives. Others."" whose names are. not known, and who tell unsubstantiated stories to- people with wounded at the front, should be immediately reported to headquarters, Victoria Barracks, or to th« ■ police, with as full a description of I dress and appearance as possible." « J*: f
